We will help you achieve this with the right advice and use of products that are effective yet gentle on the environment, and safe for children and pets.

Effective pest control requires an understanding of pests and their habits and a good partnership between the property owner and the technician to improve the environment around your home in combination with treatment. We will advise you on ways to reduce the availability of suitable food and shelter for pests within your property. These recommendations combined with the use of the right quality products for the right target pests will achieve the best results at your home.

We are also able to inspect and protect your home from termites and the devastating damage they can cause.

The following important precautions should be observed both before and after your premises are treated:

  • You must observe any verbal advice provided by the technician at the time of treatment.
  • You must advise the technician of any pets or of any personal, family or staff allergies or other concerns before treatment.
  • You should keep all people and pets off the treated areas until they are dry.
  • You should make sure your home is well ventilated after the treatment is completed.
  • It is recommended cover all open food items and food utensils.
  • Any persons who are sensitive or suffer from strong allergic reactions should remain, as a precaution, out of the premises for twenty four (24) hours and re-enter after the premises have been ventilated.

You should allow 14-21 days for the products to take full effect. This is especially applicable to cockroaches and rodents. Over the days following treatment you may continue to see pests as the treatment can flush pests out of their hiding places so they will come in contact with the pesticide. If you continue to see dead pests this is a good indication that the treatment is working, however the products do break down over time and re treatment in the future will be necessary to keep your home pest free.

If a rodent treatment has been carried out precautions will be undertaken to so that domestic animals and small children do not gain access to or obtain and swallow the poisonous baits. Access to areas where rodent bait has been placed must be restricted.

Following are general recommendations to help you get the best results from your pest treatment:

  • If you are planning to have any high pressure, carpet or other specialised home cleaning done, this is best completed before the pest treatment.
  • The products are designed to be safe for pets however as a safety precaution animals such as dogs will need to be kept somewhere safe, such as the garage, for the duration of the treatment.
  • It is recommended not to have any clothes on your clothes line when the treatment is being completed.
  • You do not need to clean after the treatment.
  • You should not remove webs from external surfaces for at least 2 weeks after treatment. This gives spiders time to come in contact with the treated webs.

Good hygiene is essential for good pest control. To get long lasting results from your treatment, general ‘pest management’ cleaning should be carried out regularly. Some useful tips are:

  • Food scraps should be disposed of promptly into a lidded bin.
  • Spills should be wiped up as soon as possible.
  • Food stuffs in the home should be stored in sealed containers where possible.
  • Crockery, cutlery and food preparation items should be washed and put away each night.
  • Thoroughly clean all benches and food preparation areas at night.
  • Regularly vacuum carpet and clean out likely pest harbourage areas such as under furniture and inside cupboards.
  • Some pests need water, so regularly check and fix any plumbing problems and turn off leaky taps.
  • Store cardboard boxes and similar items up off the ground.
  • Keep your outdoor areas tidy. Clear away any clutter and promptly dispose of rubbish.
  • Keep pet foods in sealed containers and bring inside or cover pet bowls at night.
  • Seal any cracks and crevices in the bathroom, kitchen, pantry cupboards, floors and walls to reduce shelter and access points for pests
